although this is already getting a little flack for seeming a little too dark, i think it looks pretty amazing. my sense is that it will be impossible to remove rdj's rapidfire wit and comedic charm from the tony stark character, so i think the criticism that this movie is going to veer too far into Nolan/Batman territory is unfounded. but it does look like it's going to explore some of the more serious aspects of the character in a really excellent way.

i've seen this feller's name thrown around quite a bit lately and am just now getting to checking him out. anyone who has ever had a fondness for late 80s/early 90s r&b will be able to get behind this with ease.

check out the minneapolis trio's debut album right here. it's really pretty great. kind of sounds like a mellowed out, slightly countrified mgmt.

alunageorge : watching over you (video)

this is so so so good. two for two (the other winner being the previously posted "your drums, your love"). but seriously, if the songs on the band's forthcoming debut are even 75% as good as these first two tracks, they're going to put out one of the best albums of the year with ease.
