on this one joanna seems to take her vocal idiosyncrasies down a notch, but the song remains beautiful and haunting and nymphlike in a way that only a joanna newsom song can. stream it here.

from their latest, in this light and on this evening. i'm a bit of an editors fan, but this album didn't really do it for me. however, this song leads me to believe they can redeem themselves on the next album.

macgruber trailer
will forte, kristen wiig, ryan phillippe (what?), and val kilmer (awesome). watch it here. macgruber is one of the most consistently funny recurring snl sketches around, but at about 30 seconds a sketch, i wonder if it can sustain itself for an entire movie.
