just a perfect video for this band. no irony in it either. humor, yes. but irony, no. that's part of what makes this band so endearing.

don't let all the horrible names in the title scare you off (blood diamonds? grimes? unicorn? "phone sex"? - woof), this is a dance jam well worth hearing. late night tropicalia vibes.
and the original, which is probably even better.

a first taste of one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year. safe to assume that if you liked any songs off the first album, you'll like this. the progression from lp1 to this is subtle, but feels very natural. you can hear romy growing into her voice.
