interpol : all the rage (video)
this is the first "official" single from the band's forthcoming fifth studio effort. i was pretty ready to write this one off before even hearing it because interpol's albums have been decreasing in quality since the start. lp1 and lp2 were great. lp3 had some great moments, but also a lot of misses. lp4 was awful from start to finish - not a single hook to be found anywhere. and while this song is nowhere near album 1 or 2, it could definitely have fit nicely as a bright moment on album 3. which is to say it's got a hook. listen/watch below.
