Michael Cera I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down
MC seems to be one of the main, if not the only, road block to an Arrested Development movie. CHECK IT.
It's A Movie Called "Lesbian Vampire Killers"...How Could I Not Post It?
I'm not sure which word lesbian is modifying. It may be that the vampires are lesbians, or maybe that vampire killers are lesbians, but I suppose it won't really affect the plot that much either way.
CLICK HERE to get taken to hype machine, where you can stream two new tracks from Animal Collective's forthcoming Merriweather Post Pavillion. I heard the studio version of "Brothersport" a month or so back, and it's great. "Daily Routine" is just as great, and follows the "tropicalia-trance" formula that seems to be the theme for this album. But the real standout of the trio of tracks is "My Girls," a very sweet and sincere song in which Panda Bear/Noah Lennox sings of his only desire: to be able to provide for his wife and daughter ("I don't mean to seem like I care about material things...I just want four walls and adobe slabs for my girls...I only want a proper house"). Awww....<3 you indie-rock dads.

Animal Collective on La Blogotheque
This song, "Taste," is apparently on the new and leaked Merriweather Post Pavillion. The performance is about as odd as you'd expect from these guys. It was shot in November of 2007, so I'm not sure how close it is to the newly finished project, but worth a listen if you're antsy for the new stuff.
Port O'Brien Perform "Tree Bones" on Laundromatinee
This is one of my favorite Port O'Brien songs, although I could probably say that about most of their songs.

Plus this totally raucous version of "Rooftops." It's kind of like Jack Johnson if he drank whiskey and did hard drugs.
