modest mouse's isaac brock has been commissioned to write a song for my favorite animated television show (after spongebob, of course), the marvelous misadventures of flapjack.

the real world is a tough and sometimes depressing place. probably why i gravitate towards characters, such as flapjack, that are so unyieldingly optimistic. watch one of my favorite episodes here.
