miike snow : live, in the woods

been listening to miike snow a lot lately. when i first introduced you to these guys almost a year ago (here), i thought the album would be a tasty one-summer jam, and would slowly pass out of rotation for good. not the case. as the weather warms up, i find myself going back to this album on a regular basis, and for good reason. it's an electro-pop dance album where none of the elements are ever out of balance: the electronics and the real instruments blend perfectly while the dance and the pop are never struggling for dominance, each knowing its place and playing out right where it should. for those that haven't checked miike snow out yet, get on it.
