kings of leon : mechanical bull (album stream)

head over here to stream the new kol album from itunes. as any long-time kings fan would come to expect from an album post-because of the times, there are a couple keepers, a couple throwaways, and a couple that are absolute garbage (see song #4, "temple", which is possibly the worst song they ever wrote). most everything on here has a stadium-rock studio sheen on it, so those looking for the grimy dive-bar bathroom-stall recording sound from their first few lps best look elsewhere.

kings of leon : dancing with myself (robyn cover live)

the verse is a little soft, but that chorus packs a punch.

"this competition is getting pretty heated. just like your food."

kings of leon : wait for me (stream)

second taste of forthcoming mechanical bull.
