Now that Emily Haines (one of the many Canadian Broken Social Scene collaborators) has gotten her solo record behind her, seems like she's ready to get back to banging out songs with her regular band Metric, because they've got a new album and a tour a-coming. There's a video of her explaining some of the writing process and demon battling that occurred while living in Buenos Aires, as well as the song "Help, I'm Alive" playing in the background.
