Coldplay Responds to Satriani's Allegations

Coldplay have issued a statement saying that "if there are any similarities between [Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" and Satriani's "If I Could Fly"], they are entirely coincidental" (independent creation, regardless of similarity, does not constitute copyright infringement).
