Jimi Hendrix's Grave/Memorial

Arguably the most important guitarist to ever wield the instrument, Hendrix was originally buried in an unremarkable plot at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton, Washinton, just outside of Seattle. As Hendrix's popularity continued to grow over the decades, concerns began to mount over fans damaging the adjoining graves at the cemetery, so an expanded memorial site was built, which was just completed in 2002.
